First gPhone / Android Phone Launched

The most awaited Android Phone also called as gPhone viz. Google Phone has launched. HTC with T-Mobile has launche G1 the first gPhone that runs Android Operating system, which is potentially competitor of iPhone and Symbian has got a back stage in the race of mobile technologies.

The Android Operating system runs with a core Linux Kernel 2.6 and Android specific Dalvik JVM. Unlike iPhone, Android provides excellent flexibility to the programmer with an excellent SDK. Hence the user experience becomes more appealing.

This launch has started a net era in mobile computing. The Linux-Windows war has also reached the mobile sector.
